The Gujarat state government has announced a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 49,600 for Teaching Assistants (TAs) in both Government Higher Secondary Schools and Non-Government Aided Higher Secondary Schools for the initial five-year period. Following this, TAs will transition to the Level-7 pay scale (Rs. 39,900-1,26,600) as per government regulations.
