NSEP Result 2024-25: The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) has successfully conducted the NSEP Examination now students are eagerly waiting for the declaration of the result.

The NSEP Result 2024-25 will be released by the end of December 2024 on the official website iapt.org.in as the NSEP Score Card 2024-25. Students who took part in the NSEP examination can access the IAPT results by logging in with their credentials when declared officially.

IAPT Cut Off 2024-25

NSEP Result 2024-25

Students are required to achieve marks that are at least equal to or greater than the Minimum Admissible Score (MAS), which corresponds to 50% of the average of the highest 10 scores in the relevant subject to meet the eligibility requirements for stage 2.

The shortlisted candidates are going to appear for the second stage i.e. Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPhO) scheduled to take place on on 02nd February 2025 (9.00 am to 12.00 pm). Around 300 students are selected for the Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPhO) from NSEP Examination.

The IAPT results will include information regarding the exam marks, MI (Merit Index), and MAS (Minimum Admissible Score) details.

NSEP Result 2024-25 Date

The NSEP Exam 2024 was held on 24th November 2024 and the NSEP Result 2024-25 for the same is expected to be released in the last week of December 2024.

Steps to Check NSEP Exam Result 2024-25

You can find the link on the official website of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. Mentioned below are the steps to download the NSEP Merit list 2024-25 or you can directly click on the link that will be provided above:

1. Visit the official website of IAPT, iapt.org.in.

2. Go to the ‘Results’ section on the homepage. Click on the link that reads ‘NSE Results 2024-25’.

3.  The links for the IAPT NSEP Result merit list is displayed on the screen. Click on it and check the IAPT Result 2024-25.

4. Students can also download the NSEP Merit List of shortlisted students and take a printout for future reference.

What After NSEP Result 2024-25

Toppers from these NSEP exams from each State/Union Territory will qualify for the Stage 2 exam, i.e., Indian National Physics Olympiads (INPhO) 2025 in respective subjects. The full details will be made available on the website of HBCSE.

• Direct Enrollment: The NSEP gold medalists can appear for a direct interview to join the Atomic Energy Department. They are exempt from the written test.
• Scholarship: Candidates opting for a B.Sc. in Physics after NSEP are eligible for a Scholarship (Maximum 10). This system was introduced to encourage students to take up physics as a career option.

INPhO (Indian National Physics Olympiad) which is the second stage of the International Physics Olympiad is a national-level examination for the students of Class 11 and 12. The INPhO 2025 is a national-level examination that will be held at about 18 centers in the nation. 300 NSEP qualified students move to INPhO.

Approximately 35 toppers of INPhO will be eligible for the Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC) in respective subjects for about two weeks at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai. Indian teams to compete in International Olympiads  2025 will be chosen based on the students’ performance in respective OCSC.
